Post 2: Part-time | 30 hours per week 
Post 3: Full-time | 38 hours per week 
Untrained ISVA: £29,777 (NJC 19) full time equivalent plus 3% employer pension contribution. (An approved and accredited ISVA qualification is preferable for this post & candidates with an ISVA qualification will start at the higher salary rate. Location : Mainly from our Birmingham City Centre offices with some remote working (one day working from home for the part time posts and two days working from home for the full time post). 
You will support CYP with the traumatic effects and impacts of sexual violence, abuse, exploitation and coercion and if appropriate help them to understand each stage of the criminal justice process.
To provide a high quality and victim/survivor-focused advocacy service to CYP who have been subjected to sexual violence, abuse, sexual exploitation and/or coercion, in order to:
Ensure that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of children and young people are heard, understood and acted upon by all individuals and organisations.
Following safeguarding assessments and reduce risk to keep children and young people (and others) safe
Support the work of the CYP ISVA Team, and the wider ISVA Team (Adult, LGBT, Sex Worker and Race and Equality ISVAs) which may include working within Umbrella sexual health settings and other appropriate services as required.
Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Counsellor
Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Counsellor roles and roles supporting parents, carers and families. Part-time roles (3hrs 30mins a week up to 38hrs a week) consisting of varied days, times and locations available (City Centre, locations across Birmingham and working from home offering telephone and online counselling). 
Location : This will be an outreach-based role which requires frequent travel across Birmingham to support children and young people in spaces where they are already accessing support and feel safe. A small number of hours will be working from our Birmingham City Centre premises.
You will provide support as a Child Sexual Exploitation Counsellor for children and young people (CYP) and those supporting them. You will also lead on developing and delivering a group for supporters (parents and carers) who are supporting children and young people subjected to sexual exploitation. To offer a specialist, boundaried relational and trauma-informed child sexual exploitation (CSE) counselling that is responsive to children and young people aged 5 to 17 years of age who have been subjected to or at risk of sexual exploitation
To offer specialist counselling and wellbeing support to parents, carers and families who are supporting children and young people subjected to sexual exploitation
To develop and deliver a group for supporters (parents, carers and families) who are supporting children and young people subjected to sexual exploitation
To offer an environment where children and young people feel safe and secure
To work actively with children and young people subjected to sexual exploitation
30pm and/or Saturday, 10am-4:30pm
Location : our Birmingham City Centre premises
You will be working closely with the Head of CYP Counselling and Wellbeing Services, the CYP Team Leaders and the wider CYP Team in the safe delivery of CYP counselling and wellbeing services for the benefit of the CYP we support.
To offer specialist counselling to children aged 5 to 17 years of age who have been subjected to sexual violence, sexual abuse and/or sexual exploitation.
To offer an environment where children & young people feel safe and secure.
To work actively with children and young people.
Birmingham City Centre premises & also working from home and in locations across Birmingham & Solihull too. These hours includes between 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday, and/or at weekends, when we are open 10am-4:30pm.
Chelmsley Wood outreach site: Location : Our Birmingham City Centre premises, other locations and/or Chelmsley Wood outreach site
You will be working closely with the Head of CYP Counselling and Wellbeing Services, CYP Senior Counsellors, the CYP Team Leaders and the wider CYP Team in the safe delivery of CYP counselling and wellbeing services for the benefit of the CYP we support.
To offer a specialist counselling service to children and young people aged 5 to 17 years of age who have been subjected to or at risk of sexual violence, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation and/or sexual coercion

To work actively with children and young people
The role of the Treasurer is to ensure that the finances and supporting financial control systems are kept in order. The Treasurer does not hold or maintain the financial records and does not have sole control of the cheque book. The Treasurer delegates the day-to-day financial management of the Charity to the CEO.
The telephone helpline and online webchat services provide essential support to survivors and supporters. The helpline & webchat are operated by fully trained volunteers who work a weekly 3 hour shift and we ask that all volunteers commit for at least 6 months.
Helpline & webchat recruitment takes place twice a year, with full training provided. The training consists of four days over 4 weeks.
Our next scheduled training dates will be late summer/early autumn. The first two sessions will be held online; There are opportunities for both qualified and unqualified counsellors (who are on a minimum of a level 4 counselling course) to join our team.
