What you will be doing:
  • Preparation and fabrication of metal components for machine assembly
  • Working to concise engineering drawings and production timescales
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines which may include; Press brake, guillotine, punch, saw, drills and welding machines
  • Utilising fabrication machinery to bend, cut, punch and otherwise form and assemble welded metal components
  • Use of hand tools such as, drilling, grinding and finishing
  • To adhere to the company policies and procedures
What you will need to succeed:
  • 10+ yrs. Fabrication Experience working from Technical Drawings to close tolerances is preferred
  • Time served/Apprenticeship training in Fabrication & Welding is preferred
  • Sheet Metal Background working with thin gauge Mild steel and Stainless.
  • Experience of processes to include Rolling, Folding, Cutting and marking out.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • A strong work ethic
