Job Title: Head of Trade and Business Strategy

Salary: c. £80k to £90k (Dependent on Skills and Experience) plus company car or car allowance

Location: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with agile working

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

What You'll Bring:

As the Head of Trade and Business Strategy at the NFU, you'll be responsible for setting the Department's pathfinder strategy; leading, motivating, and developing a talented professional team; and ensuring the NFU creates the positive business environment in which our farmer and grower members can thrive.

You'll bring a nuanced understanding of the broader political landscape, with the judgement and analytical skills to navigate complex issues. You will have a demonstrable record of success, with the drive to achieve meaningful results in challenging policy environments.

You'll bring a specialism in one or some of the following areas: international trade policy, agricultural economics, rural estate management, or fiscal and taxation policy and be capable of building impactful connections with stakeholders in government and the business community.
