Bloomfields is looking for a Business/Planning Administrator for our busy, dynamic business and to directly serve both our planning and architectural team. This role could even develop into helping the wider business of Lambert & Foster. A good grasp of MS Word and Excel are essential, and a willingness to learn other business platforms is required (with training being provided). The role will be based in our Hythe office although applicants may be able to work in our Wadhurst or Paddock Wood office, depending on experience. This is a role that offers the potential for good career progression.
This is a full-time position.
Salary: Dependent on experience
Reporting directly to: Client Manager, Nicola Thomas
Location of role: Paddock Wood, Kent or Westenhanger, Kent preferred but may consider Wadhurst, Sussex depending on experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Answer and direct incoming calls, to include taking and forwarding messages.
•Answer calls from prospective clients, recording details digitally.
•Research site planning history and relevant planning constraints (training to be provided).
•Assisting with the monitoring and management of planning applications as and when directed by Project Managers (training to be provided).
•Organise, schedule and co-ordinate meetings and digital reminders.
•Preparation of reports for weekly and monthly team meetings; minute taking if required.
•Maintain appropriate filing systems for both digital and hard copy folders.
•Welcome and cater for the requirements of clients and visitors to the office.
•Maintain data entry for contacts and application status spreadsheets using Excel (preferred but not essential).
•Prepare, modify and format documents to include correspondence, reports, drafts, templates and presentations using Word or PowerPoint (latter preferred but not essential).
•Prepare Letters of Instruction as required by Planning Consultants and Architectural team (training to be provided).
•Prepare invoices using our time-recording system as required by Planning Consultants and Architectural team (training to be provided).
•Upload case studies to WordPress website (training to be provided); compile articles for e-newsletters and success sheets.
•Assist with updating promotional materials and business media platforms (preferred but not essential).
•Assisting with any other administrative or promotional tasks as required.
•Assist in resolving any administrative issues.
•General administrative support including scanning, copying, binding and mailing documents and reports.
•Liaise with and report to Client Manager.
•Assistance at exhibitions and events as required.
