Lab Chemist

SRG are working with a global leader in the chemicals industry to help them find an Process Chemist for a 12 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a renowned name and contribute to key projects and gain experience with a leading name in the chemicals industry.
You would be part of a small group of Chemists working on assigned projects, carrying out synthesis and development work.
Plan and carry out chemical development work on new and existing processes in the laboratory to meet targets
Analytical testing as required
Advise manufacturing personnel and carry out laboratory work to assist in the resolution of manufacturing process problems
Determine the best method, in consultation with Senior or Principal Process Chemist, and prepare representative samples of new products or the product from process modifications.
A degree in chemistry with one a minimum of one years laboratory experience or a PhD
Knowledge/experience of synthetic and/or process chemistry
This is a great opportunity for a Chemist looking for a new challenge and where they can contribute on key projects.
