Role: Welder (NVQ Level 3)

For NVQ level 3 Welder it will be Grade 5:

Overtime Rate 1: £29.Overtime Rate 2: £38.Hourly Bonus: £2.Hours/Shifts: 44hrs, 6 at OT1, Monday to Friday plus overtime opportunities and potentially nights.

Work Type: Contract PAYE
Perform mainly TIG welding operations, but occasionally STICK according to project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting and shaping components as necessary
Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of parts prior to welding
Conduct visual and non-destructive testing to ensure the quality of welded joints
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance
Ideally we need a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Welding.
Again, preferably we would like experience in either the nuclear, defence or oil & gas industry.
Experience in part pen/butt welds and welding to cast in plates would be ideal
