Drama teacher required for school in Merton, SW London Are you an enthusiastic and talented Drama specialist with a passion for inspiring young minds? Our Client, a highly successful Girls school in Merton, SW London, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join us as a full-time, temporary Drama specialist (Secondary teacher) for the current academic year. About Our Client:

Position: Drama Specialist (Secondary Teacher) Start Date: 2nd September 2024 Duration: Long Term/ Permanent position Pay Scale: MPS for Inner London Role Expectations:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive Drama lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
  • Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and expression.
  • Contribute to the extracurricular drama activities and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Drama.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Vetting Documents:
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate.
  • Right to Work in the UK documentation.
  • Professional Reference(s).
