Practice Payroll / Bookkeeping Officer

Permanent, flexible part-time hours.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Payroll / Bookkeeping Officer to join our team. Payroll / Bookkeeping Officer - Skills and experience:
You will be working on many payrolls of varying sizes and would ideally have experience with Xero or Brightpay Payroll.
High-level Xero skills, Xero accreditation desirable - Knowledge of Sage / QuickBooks desirable too.
You will be dealing with end-to-end payroll, including payroll journals, importing/exporting csv files, holiday pay, statutory deductions and auto-enrolment.
You will be dealing with payroll queries and will need to demonstrate strong payroll legislation knowledge as well as the ability to establish good working relationships with your client base.
You will need to be comfortable working in Excel and have at least 3 years relevant work experience in a bureau environment.
You will need to be self-motivated, professional and adaptable as you will be expected to work independently from home.
