About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves working three days a week and is available due to a recent staff retirement. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and enthusiastic learning environment. The role stands out for its focus on a dynamic and diverse curriculum tailored to meet the needs of our students. You will be teaching a class of up to 30 students, with the support of a dedicated teaching assistant. The part-time nature of the role provides flexibility and a balanced work-life experience.   • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and activities.
  • Support the personal and social development of students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
