Our client is a growing national law firm operating out of a number of offices throughout the UK.

Respected for their lengthy history, they have grown organically, and steadily.

To compliment the existing offering of legal services in their Birmingham office, they are keen to appoint a corporate Solicitor.

The role:

  • To build and develop a corporate M&A and PE offering in Birmingham.
  • To operate strategically alongside the other disciplines within the city office which will develop new business, manage and care for existing clients, and to drive the firm’s brand forward.
  • This role will invite an energetic corporate Solicitor to join the firm and Birmingham office as Partner – to head up, lead and grow the department.
  • Our client has strong roots in renewable energy, charities, property, development and the leisure industry, so those with an understanding of these would most certainly be of interest.

The candidate:

  • You will be a qualified Solicitor – offering a suggested minimum of 8 PQE.
  • Your experience will have been gained from a respected commercial law firm.
  • You will have a stable career history, showing evidence of growing your own portfolio of clients and business.
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
  • Familiarity with the Midlands market.
  • Keen to carve a positive reputation as a team leader for the firm.
  • Interest in building and onboarding your own team.
  • Keen to work collaboratively with the existing people of the firm.
  • Cross selling, networking and marketing experience is essential.

This role will provide a clear career pathway. It will be a valuable hire for the firm, and will be remunerated accordingly.

This role will suit Senior Associates/Principal Associates/Legal Directors, or even existing Partners who have long frustrations at their current firm, who wish to join a flexible and encouraging law firm.
