Seize this opportunity as Quality Manager with Hitachi Energy HV Service based in Stone, Staffordshire. Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist in power transmission and distribution. The High Voltage Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS), including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added value services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits, and replacements.

Your role

As a highly experienced Quality Manager your role will include the following duties:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, such as the Cost of Poor Quality
  • Facilitate group discussions to identify and address quality issues. Establish processes to capture and share learnings from past experiences to prevent future problems
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the local QMS, which outlines the organization's approach to maintaining quality standards
  • Develop and document new processes within the organization. Utilize specific software like ADONIS and xECM for process mapping and documentation
  • Training internal Stakeholders on Quality topics
  • Organise internal audits and follow up activities
  • Initiate Lessons Learned workshops
  • NCR Management
  • Implement/maintain local Quality Management Systems
  • Manage Customer NPS Surveys and Customer Complaints
  • Handle Site Quality Plans

Background

As a highly experienced Quality Manager your background and experience will include the following:

  • Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail is necessary, as they must be able to identify anywhere standards are not met.
  • Results-driven: Must be driven by improving company processes, meeting standards, and making a positive difference.
  • Communication: Expected to communicate on quality assurance standards. Including giving presentations and conducting regular meetings.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Leadership: Able to lead as well as operating as a team player in collaboration with others
  • Technological skills: Proficient in computer skills, to create presentations, analyze data in spreadsheet programs and create informational materials to distribute to company employees.
  • Understanding of legal standards: Must adhere to Hitachi Energy specific legal standards for production and processes. Understanding these standards to be sure that they are met.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures: Embracing and imparting Hitachi Energy quality standards for HV Service
  • Data analysis: Experience in identifying quality issues or opportunities for improvement based on data analysis and research.
