An exciting opportunity that has recently arisen with one of my manufacturing clients based close to Darwen. The company is seeking a Design Engineer to come on board to support the engineering team.

You will be responsible for managing the engineering project from concept to manufacture, and will be involved in new product development.

To design and manufacture a full range of products for their customers

* Working with sales, purchasing, sub-contractors & production departments to deliver high quality engineered products.

* The successful delivery of all design projects allocated.

* Look to continuous improvement on product design methods and production procedures.

* Ensuring adherence to all company policies and prevailing business regulations.

Must be computer literate with 3D CAD experinece - specifically Autodesk Inventor

* HNC/ HND in mechanical engineering

* Preferably some experience of sheet metal/ fabrication

* The company is offering £35-40k depending on the experience of the individual, and will look at candidate with 1/2+ years upwards.
