Senior Hull & Outfit Designer
I'm working on an exciting contract opportunity for a Senior Hull & Outfit Designer in Barrow-in-Furness on 12 month contracts.

Hourly Rates
Local (within 40 miles of location) - £29.19 per hour, rising to £31.28 after 24 months.
Non-Local (over 40 miles of location) - £39.74 per hour, rising to £41.83 after 24 months

An understanding CAD toolsets and techniques like Foran, CADDS5, AutoCAD, Solidworks, Tribon. and Siemens NX for both 2D and 3D outputs (drawings and models). Other transferable CAD skills and knowledge are welcomed. The ideal candidate will also have experience and familiarity with PLM toolsets such as Teamcenter, Database Manager, and Windchill.

Senior Designer – Hull and Outfit
Using the CAD toolset to design and produce the 3D model of the whole boat primary structure. This includes the shell plate / stiffening, all steelwork decks, bulkheads, and compartmentation as well as major castings, Seating and Mounting arrangements, Penetrations, Component parts & Production aids.

Please note that you'll be required to undergo SC Clearance.
