Herbosch Kiere Marine Contractors is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager, with a strong understanding of marketing principles, to join our team. 

In this pivotal role, as part of the senior management team, you’ll support in steering strategy, driving our continued growth and building a strong brand awareness.  

Here's what you'll champion:  

  • Identify and secure lucrative tender opportunities: Leverage your project experience in maritime engineering and offshore to spearhead our tendering process. 
  • Forge strategic partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key clients and industry players, expanding our global network. 
  • Become a champion for our brand: Develop a winning marketing strategy to elevate Herbosch Kiere's profile and reputation internationally. 
  • Stay one step ahead: Analyse competitor activity and identify new markets and service offerings for the company to pursue. 
  • Collaborate for success: Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director and other departments to maximise opportunities and achieve shared goals. 

Do you possess the following?  

  • Proven experience in the maritime engineering and offshore industry 
  • A track record of successfully securing tenders 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to develop a winning business development plan 
  • Proficiency in creating compelling marketing and presentation materials 
  • Proven ability to leverage strong networking skills to build lasting client relationships, 
  • The ability to independently manage your workload to achieve strong results.

This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of both homeworking and collaborating with colleague’s face to face. The role is based at our Chiswick office with occasional meetings requiring travel to Shoreham. We recommend applicants are based within the south of England. 

Travel and Explore:  

In addition, the role involves regular client visits and networking events, primarily across the south of England, with occasional travel further afield.
