Nursery Nurse Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a Fantastic Nursery who are looking to employ a passionate Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for their setting based near Chepstow, Wales. This setting is well established and the successful candidate will need to contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting. Key Purposes and Responsibilities To keep a proper record of achievement file on key children, for parents/carers. Strive to safeguard children by working to the organisation's safeguarding Code of Conduct. Contribute towards an environment which safeguards children at all times. To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff. To attend ALL out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, parents/carers evenings summer fayre and Christmas party To be flexible within working practices of Setting. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the Setting, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc. To actively promote and support the safeguarding of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring Setting policies and procedures are observed at all times. To develop your role within the team especially as a key worker Ensure child is collected by someone known to setting or has a pre agreed password Work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the children's needs are being met Essential Requirements Minimum full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification Excellent knowledge of EYFS Experience of being a key person An understanding of good childcare and early years education The successful candidate can look forward to a competitive salary with additional benefits such as -house training with career progression opportunities.
