Simply Education is working in partnership with a local SEND provision that is dedicated to providing exceptional educational opportunities for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. Our school prides itself on creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where students feel safe to explore their learning and develop their skills. The successful SEND Teaching assistant will provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Implement bespoke curriculum plans tailored to each student's academic and pastoral requirements.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant you must demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a nurturing approach in all interactions with students.
Consistently apply behaviour management techniques outlined in the behaviour management policy.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support student progress.
Previous experience working with students with SEND is desirable but full training will be provided.
Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support are advantageous.
