Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in the packaging industry, are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. To undertake planned preventative maintenance, testing, repairs and new installation work covering a wide range of equipment, services, systems and buildings associated with the running of a large blown film extrusion manufacturing site.

Daily preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
-Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery to include extruders and site services.
-Support project development
-Fully engage with the operations team to provide proactive support to the plant and equipment, maximising production output.
-Perform maintenance tasks as part of planned maintenance or as directed by the Engineering Manager.
-Respond promptly to any unplanned maintenance issues or repairs to ensure minimum down time
-Understand importance of preventative maintenance schedules and prioritise activities to efficiently use resources
-Flexible, highly motivated and driven with the ability to prioritise own workload, possess strong intellect, good logical fault finding analysis capabilities and who can demonstrate the ability to make decisions and empower people to drive actions forward. Experience of working in a production maintenance environment is essential for this role.
-NVQ or HNC / Degree level qualification in an Engineering discipline.
-Proven track record in production engineering
-Core house Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
-25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
-5% employee | 3% employer pension
-On call rota every 3rd week. Weekend call out rate: paid a minimum of 4 hours
-Overtime rates: X1.5 Saturdays. X2 Saturday evening/Sunday
