Laboratory Technician

Our Client, a leading supplier of sustainably sourced products are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join their friendly team in Haverfordwest.

The Laboratory Technician will assist with quality auditing, sampling, and testing to help manage the company’s daily processing of dairy produce. To focus on monitoring, recording, and instructing others on food quality and product performance.
To assist the wider technical team in carrying out daily tasks, implementing GMP practices throughout site and supporting compliance to company policies and procedures and relevant legislation relating to food quality and safety.

Completion of audits, including but not limited to traceability tests, internal audit, GMP audits, glass, and hard plastics audit according to the issued schedules. Collect samples during the process and of finished products for analysis. Log samples onto laboratory systems for testing.
Operation of laboratory equipment and completion of laboratory testing.
Accurate record keeping of all results and audits using both paperwork and computer-based systems.
Completion of raw material sampling, including verification of printed packaging such as films and labels ensuring that out of specification results are communicated to the Technical Manager.
Conduct quality training with employees when required.
