This is an exciting opportunity to join ourfriendly and fast-paced homecare team covering the Plymouth area. Wehave a large homecare office based in Plymouth that covers Plympton,Plymstock and Saltash and this role would be part of the teamresponsible for overseeing the Plymouth area. The main duties of the Homecare Coordinator role include:

  • Be the first point of contact for both new andexisting Service Users and Care Workers.
  • Effectively handleinitial enquiries from prospective service users and their families.
  • Rostering staff to provide a safe delivery of service toclients.
  • Liaise with other professionals involved in serviceusers' care.
  • Assisting with recruiting new care workers tothe team.
  • Monitor care workers and carry out supervisions andappraisals.
  • Supporting the effective handling ofsafeguarding, incidents, and complaints as required.
  • Ensurethe service is working within the standards expected by the CQC.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

  • A full UK driving license is essential
  • A goodcommunicator with the ability to build and maintain strongrelationships.
  • Flexible to cope with changing demands andpriorities, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Well organisedwith the ability to multitask.
  • A Friendly, confident andhelpful telephone manner.
  • A person with a strong focus onteamwork, and also have the ability to work independently and applyinitiative.
  • A person with a positive, focused attitude toenable targets to be met and exceeded.
