They operate across varied industries including industrial, mobile, and marine markets. They produce many of their own products to include Hydraulic cylinders and Power units, as well as undertaking reclamation and general engineering. We also carry large stocks of Pumps, Motors, Couplings, Filters, Valves, Seals, and many other products. They are a privately owned company operating for over 30 years with a wealth of experience within the industry through our team of engineers. They are looking to employ an experienced & qualified Mechanical / Hydraulics Service Technician to work with our site service team and Technical Manager to carry out installations, service and repairs, reactive fault finding and call out on our customers sites aswell working on projects in our factory. Your main responsibilities will include
- You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment
- Trouble- shooting equipment malfunctions.
- Consulting with the customer on repair and safety related issues.
- Generating sales leads during service call.
- Completing appropriate documentation.
- Complete all necessary reports and inspections as required.
- Adhere to existing processes whilst contributing to improvements.
- City and Guilds, Or NVQ Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Practical experience with hydraulic equipment, systems preferred, product training will be given
- Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills as there are extensive customer contact
- Committed to safety
- You must be physically fit and able to work at heights
- Willingness to work extra hours
- Hold a current driving licence
