Job Description
As a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD, you will serve as a crucial representative of our organisation, often being the primary point of contact for our customers. Your role is vital in maintaining our reputation for excellence and reliability in parcel delivery services.
Key responsibilities include:
Executing timely and accurate collections and deliveries, adhering strictly to scheduled routes and timeframes.
Providing exemplary customer service during all interactions, recognising that each encounter significantly impacts our company's reputation.
Assisting with the efficient loading of parcels at the depot, ensuring proper handling and organisation of items.
Managing a daily schedule of approximately 50-60 stops within the designated area.
Utilising provided equipment, such as the sack barrow/hand truck, to safely handle heavier items.
Maintaining a professional demeanour and appearance at all times, as you represent DPD to our clientele.
Adhering to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while operating the 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Accurately documenting all collections and deliveries, ensuring proper record-keeping.
Promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies to management.
Continuously striving to improve efficiency and service quality in your daily operations.
This role demands a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
To be considered for the role you must have:
A valid 7.5T (C1) licence, DQC (Driver Qualification Card) and CPC accreditation
We are also looking for you to demonstrate that you:
