we are looking for a Cabin Maintenance Operative (Handyperson/Multi Skilled Operative) to provide a high quality and efficient maintenance service, preparing site cabins for hire, maintenance, and repairs on hiring sites in Merstham, Surrey.
We are a busy and expanding tool, construction equipment and site accommodation hire company looking for a versatile Multi Skilled Operative/Handy Person, to join our cabin maintenance team, based in our hire depot in Merstham.
On site work , and occasionally working away for short periods are also a part of this role.
You will carrying out maintenance and repairs to handy individual site cabins and/or customers sites or premises. You'll undertake pre-delivery and off-hire inspections on repairs and organise work schedules. You will do this within agreed time frames ensuring that all the above are carried out within Health & Safety guidelines and the Group's Health & Safety Policy.
Painting & decorating
Installation of fixtures and fittings
Collection of materials and equipment as required from suppliers.
Testing and Inspection of the above
Be flexible
Support and assistance are provided, and those displaying the necessary ability and commitment will have opportunities to progress.
You will also be expected for work away from home at times.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30pm, Saturdays occasional - overtime paid.
