Product Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project manage New Product Introduction activities.
- Communicate with all test subcontractors with respect to Pre-RTP & RTP products
- Resolve yield excursions and enhance yield on selected products
- Yield and trend analysis, reporting KPI metrics on weekly/monthly basis
- Production support throughout product life cycle, including yield & test costs
- Address manufacturing, cost & yield issues
- Ensure products being released to RTP meet minimum requirements and ensure planning data is valid
- Understanding of production test methodology
- Release of production & engineering lots on hold
- Writes of technical reports
- Dealing & interfacing with customer issues
- Understanding of reliability and qualification for new devices including ESD, Latchup, HTOL, HAST, Failure Analysis
REQUIREMENTS
It is essential that :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline with minimum of 5 experience in an IC Product Engineering role
- Experience of production mixed signal IC testers, Advantest, Teradyne A5, Catalyst or UltraFlex would be particularly relevant
- Expected to be able to manage engineering tasks, on an as needed basis, combining experience of Failure Analysis, Test Development, Process Engineering, Statistical analysis and Customer Support
- An Analog/Digital background or experience in sustaining mature products
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with others to solve routine problems and expresses ideas in a group setting
