Job Title: CAMHS Practitioner
Band 6
Location: Kent
Duration: 3 months
Schedule: 9-5 Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £25 - £27 p/h umbrella days
Must holder a Valid Full UK Drivers License

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled CAMHS Practitioner to provide compassionate and effective mental health support to children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent mental health, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties, utilizing a range of assessment tools and techniques.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based interventions.
Provide therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and their families, utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and educators to ensure integrated and holistic care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
Provide consultation and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the care of children and adolescents.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

Current and valid registration with the NMC.
Proven experience within a CAMHS Service experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
