Job Description

1st Line Support Engineer

Edinburgh City Centre

Net Talent are working with a company based in Edinburgh who are looking to hire a 1st line support engineer. This is due to an increase in customer demand and success for the business. Ideally we are looking to speak with candidates who have 1-2 year’s experience in IT support and have an appetite for problem solving and helping people.

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact answering calls and assisting customers with 1st line technical issues.
  • Investigate and resolve tickets as required both remotely and on site.
  • Setting up new customer hardware inc laptops, mobiles and tablets

Requirements

  • 2 year’s experience handling 1st line support for Microsoft products.
  • Relevant IT qualifications such as a degree, HND, CompTIA or similar
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Self starter with can do attitude.
  • Full UK driving license or in the process of obtaining one.
