GSL Education is actively seeking an English Teacher for immediate placement in client schools in Hexham. This role is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals who have a deep passion for English and are committed to inspiring a new generation of thinkers, writers, and readers. Join our team and play a pivotal role in developing students' abilities to analyze, interpret, and appreciate literature, while also enhancing their writing and communication skills.

English Teacher Role:

Design and deliver dynamic English lessons that cater to the varied learning needs of students.
Engage students with a diverse range of texts and literary genres to broaden their understanding and appreciation of English literature.
Encourage creative expression through writing assignments, presentations, and discussions.
Use a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed in the capacity of an English Teacher.
Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have a degree in English or a related subject area.
Demonstrate a passion for English literature and language.
Be welcoming to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Exhibit a proactive, energetic, and compassionate approach to teaching.
