We are offering a 3-year apprenticeship programme for candidates from 16 years and upwards. As our multi-skilled apprentice – Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter, you will develop the essential technical skills to become a fully trained multi-skilled engineer gaining expertise to undertake the kitchen and bathroom fitting of our properties. Over the course of this intensive programme, you will be paired with an experienced mentor and receive hands-on training to carry out the fitting of kitchens and bathrooms using carpentry, plumbing and plastering skills in residential and commercial settings. We provide blended on-site and college-based learning to complete a recognised trade qualification. There are no specific restrictions on prior qualifications, but you cannot have an NVQ Level 3, or higher qualification, in the same subject as the role you are applying for. As a heating engineer, you will benefit from having a highly sought-after, transferable skill set with the opportunity of building a long-term career with Bromford. This apprenticeship is a full time, 4-year fixed term contract, including 3 years of part time study for your qualification and a further 1-year practical placement. You will receive standard Bromford T&Cs like all colleagues and your salary will increase each year. Due to the nature of the programme, an enhanced DBS check will be completed for you. The recruitment process consists of assessments and interviews taking place in June 2024. The programme starts in September 2024.   • Interest in a heating engineer career
  • Physically able to perform manual work
  • Willing to train both on-site and in classroom settings
  • Passionate about quality craftsmanship
  • Customer service skills
  • Available for work and training 5 days a week
  • Can attend assessments/interviews in May/June, if application successful
  • Can start the programme in September 2024, if successful
  • Have the right to work and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
  • Have a full UK driving licence or willing to obtain one during the apprenticeship programme.
