Project Manager GBP40,000 - GBP65,000 London Based

Are you a Project Manager looking for a flexible working policy and development within a role?

Boden Property are very excited to be working with a very successful Construction Consultancy specialising in the healthcare sector. This business works with local and national government healthcare departments, the private sector and building contractors. Their projects they ve accomplished include new theatres, major refurbishments and MSCPs.

The Project Manager role will allow you to perform at an industry leading standard and be part of a team that continues to develop, innovate and even exceed the businesses greatest achievements. You will manage and take control over projects from start to finish, liaising with external and internal stakeholders, and ensuring that timescales, health & safety regulations, and ensure other contractual agreements are always met.

Overview of the Project Management role

You Will

  • Maintain contractual requirements for both contractors and consultants
  • Organise, chair and lead multidisciplinary meetings with stakeholders
  • Lead and manage stakeholders including design teams, suppliers, external agencies, Consultant Medical Staff, Senior Managers and Users to successfully deliver the project. You will act as a first point of contact
  • Budge plan and oversee project procurement
  • Work in collaboration with Senior Project Managers/Project Directors to eliminate blockers
  • Analyse and review monthly progress reports
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risk and keep Directorate informed accordingly
  • Establish, maintain and build relationships with third parties/Suppliers/Stakeholders at all levels
  • Lead and manage the decommissioning process of the buildings and to facilitate various relocations of departments to enable building works to commence on site where required
  • To act with a high degree of day-to-day decision-making autonomy to ensure project progress is maintained. Progress and status reporting to Directors will be expected
  • Identify, address and resolve differences between individuals and/or interest groups



Requirements our Project Managers will have

You will

  • Proven track record in managing projects in healthcare and/or commercial sectors
  • Relevant engineering knowledge of specifications and current standards and ongoing best practise.
  • Ability to take control and ownership
  • Confident management of teams and external agencies from a broad range of backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reading accurately interpreting programmes, drawings and technical specifications
  • Working closely with project stakeholders at all levels to understand operational requirements to translate into drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to put findings into action
  • Knowledge of process mapping and improvement methodologies, leading to implementation and sustainability of change.
  • An appreciation of the effects of successful change management and end user journeys.
  • NEC/JCT contract experience, and qualifications would be beneficial
