If you have experience in an electromechanical assembly environment within the manufacturing sector and have and have successfully managed and trained a team of assembly technicians the role of Machine ShopTeam Leader could be an opportunity to grow your career with in this very well-established firm.

The role of Machine ShopTeam Leader will be responsible for the following areas:

  • To manage and motivate production operatives
  • Record, monitor and advise on production performance as part of the QCD metrics
  • Monitor actual performance against standard cycle times
  • Set and monitor KPI's on shop floor
  • The role requires the use and set up of the following machines:
      • Cylindrical grinding
      • Surface grinding
      • Bore grinding
      • Milling
      • Linishing
      • Fettling
      • Ultrasonic cleaning

  • Experience in overseeing a team of assembly technicians within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a high paced and demanding environment
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Experience in upskilling and training staff
  • Lean Six sigma qualifications
