About the Quality Technician job
The purpose of your role will be to comply with all company hygiene, environmental and health and safety requirements whilst supporting the production team and be involved in the product sampling process.
Key tasks
- Arrange QC testing of all materials for release and arrange samples to be dispatched to the lab as well as preparing samples for external testing.
- Carry out product testing including moisture, GCMS and microbiology swabs and retain these samples for storage and catalogue and provide accurate reports.
- Support the business with specific projects where required. Upload and maintain accurate data on file and within the company IT platform.
- Conduct factory audits and maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
About You
The successful candidate could have a food production background or be a recent food science related graduate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Responds well to instruction.
The Quality Technicianjob is based inSomerset, salary details will be provided upon application according to your experience.
The working hours are 8:45am - 4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am - 4:00pm on Fridays. The company provide a paid 45 min lunchbreak.
