Work as an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse for a nationally recognised, specialist provider of Cancer Care. This is a community based role covering the Lambeth and surrounding areas - working via our agency on a temporary contract as an agency nurse. The hourly rate is £43 - £48 an hour working 4 or 5 days a week and will be ongoing for a minimum of 3 or 6 months.
As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide oncology patients with a range of treatments in their own homes. 5 hours per week available working 4 or 5 days per week, you will benefit from mileage expenses and no bank holiday working.
This role will involve seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more.
Benefits as Community Oncology Nurse (Temp / Agency):
Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience)
Monday to Friday role - approx. 8 hrs per day - working 4 or 5 days per week
No bank holiday workingRequirements for this well-paid agency chemotherapy nurse position;
Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
Experience in Oncology, Haematology or Chemotherapy is essential
Driving Licence
SACT Passport, or equivalent qualificationIf you have experience as a Community Oncology Nurse, Oncology Nurse, Haematology Nurse, Chemotherapy Specialist Nurse, or Homecare Nurse, you might find this role as an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse a perfect fit.
