What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in enabling residents to live well in their homes and estates. This is an important customer-facing role with responsibilities including:

  • Carrying out surveys to enable future investment programs to be correctly planned and procured.
  • Managing the delivery of allocated projects to ensure cost, time, and quality requirements are met.
  • Managing disrepair claims and one-off projects, including adaptations to ensure residents can live safely and independently in the right home.
  • Assisting with the preparation and delivery of decarbonisation works across the Association.
  • Procuring, managing, and monitoring the performance of various contracts.

Your Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Tendering procedures and contract administration
  • Significant experience in programming and controlling building work
  • Effective cost control and budget management
  • Significant experience in risk assessment relating to construction work
  • Significant experience in tenant liaison
  • Detailed knowledge of Fitness for Human Habitation and Disrepair
