The Job:

Arthrex is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Communications Manager to lead their marketing efforts in the UK. Reporting directly to the Customer Experience Manager the Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth in the region.

Aims of the post:

  • Responsible for all aspects of UK Marketing Communications.
  • Achieve high impact solutions to benefit internal and external customers on delivering the Arthrex WHY.
  • Deliver clear marketing strategies to support Product Manager portfolio strategies and align with Leadership to manage budgets, implementations and execution.
  • Lead a developing new dedicated marketing resource within the UK.
  • Manage brand adherence, promotion and development to maximise impact in all channels.
  • Develop Marketing strategies and communications to enhance a thriving calendar of events and product launches.
  • Support Product Management, Leadership Team and Medical Education – Making People Better.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company objectives and market dynamics in the UK.
  • Brand Management: Lead efforts to strengthen and differentiate the Arthrex UK brand through consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity.
  • Product Marketing: Drive product marketing initiatives to promote adoption and utilization of Arthrex products among healthcare professionals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing strategies including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create compelling content such as sales materials, educational resources, and multimedia assets.
  • Event Management: Work alongside events team to plan and execute participation in industry conferences, seminars, and training events to showcase Arthrex products and expertise.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional growth.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives and provide regular reporting to leadership.

General Requirements:

Education and Professional Experience:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive B2B experience in marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably in the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of UK healthcare landscape, regulations, and customer preferences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Working Arrangements:

Please note that this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home, flexibility is essential.

This role is primarily based at our Solihull site, with 40% national travel to support exhibitions and occasional international travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, Contributory Pension scheme, medical cash back plan, Group income protection and Life Assurance.
