Our Corporate and Commercial team is growing and we are now looking for an experienced Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to join our team to work on a range of matters including, but not limited to:
EMI options and share schemes
Commercial contracts
You will work alongside the Corporate and Commercial Director to assist development of the Corporate and Commercial offering and further enhance our client base.
The Corporate and Commercial team mainly act for owner managed businesses and corporate transactions range in value from £500K to £25m. About 20% of our work is advising on commercial contracts which also have a wide range in value, subject to matter and complexity.
Draft, review and negotiate on a broad range of transactional, corporate and commercial documents on behalf of clients
Achieve designated levels of billing and time recording
Provide assistance/support to junior members of the team
Demonstrable knowledge of corporate law, including agreements, articles of association, LLP's and partnerships and preferably knowledge and experience of advising on commercial contracts for the supply of goods and services etc.
The ability to draft legal documents to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
A good understanding of risk and compliance
