Legal Project Management Tech & Ops Analyst

The Legal Project Management Tech & OpsAnalyst will assist with all aspects of supporting Legal ProjectManagement (LPM) including finance and operations, and systems and technology,enabling the LPM team to focus on people, profitability and client (internaland external) outcomes.

They will work closely with the LPM Tech &Ops Lead to support LPM goals and metrics; day-to-day department operations,including reporting, dash-boarding, budgeting, and financial management; changemanagement and continuous improvement of LPM service delivery.

They will support LPM colleagues and legalstakeholders in the Firm on client and internal projects by helping teams toleverage existing Firm technologies and embed data-driven project managementbest practice.

About the role:

As part of this role, the successful candidatewill:

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Contributeto special strategic projects and initiatives led by LPM Tech & OpsLead as delegated by the Director of Legal Project Management

Change Management:

  • Assistwith identifying, and executing on critical business change managementinitiatives, and high priority strategic and process improvement projectsacross LPM with a focus on standardizing, simplifying and streamliningprocesses; implementing mechanisms to track, measure and report on resultsand benefit
  • Supportthe continual improvement of firm financial and project reporting onprojects by defining and championing business user needs
  • Facilitatecapacity tracking and demand management for new and existingprojects

Technology:

  • Assistwith implementation and ongoing support of new technology, includingworking closely with other technical experts in the firm to support thetesting and rollout of new technologies
  • Workwith diverse global teams to solve data-related challenges on clientprojects, and help develop solutions to empower non-expert users oftechnology

To be successful in this role you will need:

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’sdegree, preferably with a significant data analytics/data science focus
  • Extensiveexperience working in large complex organizations ideally in a law firm orprofessional services firm
  • Strongtechnology background with the ability to quickly learn and master newtechnologies
  • Provenability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify,define and solve business problems
  • Superiordata analysis skills including mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • Experienceworking with databases and / or workflow automation tools is desirable
  • Provenskills, knowledge and experience in preparing reports, executive summariesand status reports for consumption by the Firm's leadership and clients
  • Demonstratedskills, knowledge and experience in data visualization and modelling
  • Abilityto interact and build trusted relationships with all levels of theorganisation and across geographical and cultural boundaries
  • Abilityto prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Proactiveand highly motivated approach; a self-starter with strong initiative andthe ability to learn quickly
