Our Wales & Western Rail Engineering Management Team is based in our AECOM Swindon office and has an established record for successfully delivering Rail Projects.
The team meets regularly to share best practice and peer learning is encouraged to improve our personal and team performance. Each team member has a development plan to provide a clear pathway to personal development and career progression. The team provides technical leadership of projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs. The projects we deliver range from stations to train maintenance and servicing depots and power supply upgrades.
We also provide support for other parts of AECOM's business on major multidisciplinary projects. Our clients are many and varied from both the private and public sector and include the major custodians of the UK's rail network, numerous local authorities, and major Contractors.
Requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of rail engineering.
Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique problems. Recognised engineering qualification or a relevant degree in Engineering

Undertaking previous duties as a Project Designated Engineer
Multi-disciplinary knowledge of rail engineering.
Strong technical leadership of teams in the delivery of projects focused on delivering for the Client.
Knowledge of system interfaces which impact on discipline design principles and demonstrable experience of the successful management of interfaces within projects.
Completing quality control reviews of work developed by others.
