Registered Nurse - Care Home
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are currently partnering with a care provider based in Rugeley, Staffordshire who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their clinical team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to elderly residents with a focus on dementia care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
Provide attentive and compassionate nursing care to elderly residents with dementia and other age-related needs.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique requirements.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
* Monitor residents' health status and promptly respond to any changes or concerns.
* Collaborate with family members and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or questions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' health records and care plans.
* Foster a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes residents' dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
* Previous experience in elderly care, particularly dementia care, is highly desirable.
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement nursing care interventions.
* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
