Job Description:
Mama Bear's Day Nursery is currently recruiting for a Cook to join our friendly setting based in Paignton. The setting is located on Midvale Road and is situated in a large semi-detached property in the town centre, within walking distance of Paignton train and coach stations, schools, shops and other local amenities. We offer high-quality childcare for children aged three months to five years.
The role involves preparing and cooking fresh breakfasts, home cooked lunches, and teas for babies and young children to a set menu. As well as preparing food, the role will involve stock management, washing up duties and maintaining a clean kitchen. Very high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are required and familiarity with Safer Food Better Business is preferred. Food Hygiene certificate is essential.
The ideal Candidate will have experience of cooking in a similar environment. Awareness of allergy’s, dietary requirements and cross contamination is essential.
Due to the nature of the role it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
