CNC Operator

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of CNC Operators within the Caerphilly area to join our clients manufacturing plant. These roles are full time, ongoing working for a global manufacturing company, who offer a fantastic working environment, culture and are very much an employer of choice within the local area. Duties:

• Set up and operate press brake machines according to specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
• Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
• Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
• Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
• Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
• Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining

• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Previous relevant experience operating a CNC / Brake Press Machinery
• Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
