We have an opportunity for a CAD professional, based in Aberdeen and preferably with oil & gas / energy related experience, to be part of an exciting / growing multi-disciplined business. This position is ideal for a team based, technical minded person looking to develop their career in CAD / Design and also learn other systems. (such as point cloud software)
Primarily using Autodesk products, the successful candidate will work within our professional team providing general arrangements, layout and sequence drawings, structural, mechanical detailing and process P&ID's.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years technical experience in industrial engineering using CAD drawings, be familiar with general drawing office procedures / checking and willing to communicate well within the team and with clients when required. There will be visits to local sites with survey teams as well as opportunities to work in Europe and Internationally.
Excellent drawing skills using AutoCAD.
Willing to travel to sites for local survey (Scotland) and liaise with clients when required.
Experience working with 3d Point Clouds (Laser Scan Data) would also be an advantage.
