Your new company
The successful candidate will be a part of the implementation team, who are responsible for the manufacturing and installing mushroom harvesting equipment throughout the world while also being responsible for any on-site troubleshooting and maintenance requirements. Your new company is a family run business and an exciting company to work for with R&D at its forefront. Due to an ever-growing order book, we are looking to create this new role.The successful candidate will be responsible for any on-site (or remote) troubleshooting and maintenance while also assisting with the manufacture and installation of Technology mushroom harvesting systems in our offices in County Armagh and on customer sites. The role also included working with the design team on R&D projects to improve our current product range and bring new products to market.
This is an exciting post where the candidate will be required to travel internationally depending on the project.
Your new role
On-site mechanical and electrical / electronic troubleshooting and problem-solvingOn-site assistance during the commissioning of systems on customer sitesPost implementation customer support and troubleshooting.Assist with manufacturing of our harvesting systems at our company premisesAssist with building of control panels and wiring of machines when requiredUtilising Schneider control systems and PLCsEnsure effective communication is maintained with clients, suppliers and the teamRead detailed electrical and engineering drawingsDemonstrate engineering expertise, and ability to improve products or services by applying professional knowledgeParticipate in research and development projects, may it be in the office or hands-on.Liaise with the Design team in R&D to refine and improve our product range What you'll need to succeed
Read detailed electrical and engineering drawingsAbility to complete mechanical and electronic / electrical troubleshooting and problem-solvingAbility to build, commission and advance development of our current product rangeStrong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise changing situationsStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to drive tasks to completionComplete on-site installation and commissioning of systemsMaintain technical specificationsDemonstrate engineering expertise, and ability to improve products or services by applying professional knowledgeWork on my own initiative and as part of a teamPrecision engineering experienceWillingness to travelOvertime as required to meet project deadlinesAn awareness of general Health and Safety rulesDesirable skills and requirementsPrevious experience programming Schneider PLCsA proven history of electrical and electronic troubleshootingWelding and Fabrication experience (stainless, TIG, MIG, Manual Arc etc)Use of 3D and 2D software including Solidworks and Autocad What you'll get in return
