We are looking for a dynamic forward thinking Acting Curriculum Leader to support the great work we do to with the young people of Leith in English and Literacy on a 2 year fixed term contract from 12 August 2024 to 30 June 2026.
Our vision statement is Success in Learning for All and we believe firmly in supporting the pupils in our diverse community to achieve the best they can.
We have strong take up in English across National, Higher and Advanced Higher level. Literacy is a large part of this remit and our pupils in S4 are performing above their comparator average.
We have a large team of colleagues in English and we are looking for a professional with excellent relationship skills to continue the excellent work of our current post holder. Find out more about our school and the work we do -
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
