As the Chief Pilot you will organise and coordinate the day-to-day work of the Fleet Operations, communicating with the Safety Department, the Compliance Department, the Ground Operations Department, the Finance Department and the Security Department.

You will lead all people management elements of Flight Operations, delivering a high performing, efficient and motivated pilot workforce.

Experience and Abilities

  • Sound understanding of UKCAA, EASA, PANS OPS and other relevant regulations
  • Experience of working to Company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Experience of leading and managing a large team of people
  • A320 type rating is desirable

The Chief Pilot will have an active Captain position on the BA Euroflyer fleet and the position will be primarily office-based. Two to three days per-month will be dedicated to flying.
