We are open to both part-time and full-time applications for this role as we can accommodate both, we support our people in their work life balance. If you have a passion for either surgery or consults only we would still like to hear from you, as the role can be flexible and we are happy to look at various options. A salary of up to £63,000 for 40 hours per week (pro rata for part-time) depending on experience

We are based in Burton upon Trent and in addition to this practice we are supported by our Tier 3 accredited hospital and 7 practice sites – all our sites are accredited by the RCVS under the Practice Standards Scheme.
We have a talented and close knit team of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, supported by an exceptional team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistant and Client Care Advisors. Within the team we have a medicine and surgery certificate holder and another working towards their imaging Certificate, and we actively encourage and support Certificate study.
Working with the community and supporting charities is a priority for us and we hold regular events including information evenings, dog shows, coffee mornings and carol concerts to name a few
Our practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, two theatres and four consulting rooms. Our main hospital provides our out of hours care and hospitalisation facilities which also includes CT scanner, MRI, Advanced Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Digital X-ray, Dental radiography, and multiple surgical suites, as well as an onsite hydrotherapy & rehabilitation centre and benefits from a multi-disciplinary specialist led referral service.
Burton is ideal to live in as it has such easy access to all parts of the country being so centrally located. It is big enough to have many of the leading high street retailers, bars and restaurants whilst not being so busy as to feel congested plus we are surrounded by wonderful countryside.
