As a Consultant Project Manager in 'Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology' (ADS&T), you'll be part of our Programme Delivery Practice. In your role, you'll enable organisations to achieve maximum benefits from digital transformation and innovative operations. You'll be supported to lead your own work packages or Agile delivery teams across our markets.
You will deliver products or outputs to time, cost, and quality; often using agile delivery methodologies to meet our clients’ needs. Communication- Based on high emotional intelligence, able to listen and question effectively, with concise verbal and written communication skills and effective questioning/listening skills. Flexibility- Willing to deliver a range of tasking from providing advice on improving client’s delivery to ‘rolling up your sleeves’ to assist clients in delivering key projects and work packages.
Initiative- Ability to analyse data and situations; Wants to continually develop new skills and undertake personal training.
Collegiate- Manage client demands whilst contributing to the development of the Programme Delivery Practice and the wider community. Always available to support colleagues.
We have opportunities for people with solid project management experience or equivalent transferable skills from other careers. Demonstrate a variety of technical project deliveries within collaborative environments.
Project management- The ability to manage all aspect of project delivery, including forecasting, change management and risk management. There will be a significant emphasis on financial acumen.
Experience of working in a project delivery environment with a sound understanding of structured and agile methodologies (e.g. APMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, MSP, DSDM, Scrum).
Client engagement- You will instil client confidence in AtkinsRéalis' project delivery through your professionalism and passion.
Commercial awareness- Providing contract management, supplier management or commercial advice to clients.
