Job Description
Business Analyst - Internal Booking and Pricing System - Contract 3 day p/w
Great opportunity for a Business Analyst / Product Owner to work with a well respected company who provide accredited training to the transport and logistics sector.
You will work on the development and refinement of the bespoke internal software solution used to book and manage training provisions.
Initially this will be on a 3 day per week basis.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to the booking system.
- Act as a liaison between the business users and the technical resource (small external team of 2 engineers), ensuring clear communication, understanding of requirements and prioritisation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories for the development team.
- Work cross-functionally to gather Responsibilities, customer feedback, and communicate priorities.
- Given the size of the team this role will be broader than the typical BA role and would suit someone used to wearing multiple hats across BA, Product, Project.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience working as a Business Analyst in IT projects, preferably with small teams.
- Experience with bespoke internal software required, ideally booking, scheduling, pricing solutions.
- Experience across B2B web / SaaS is advantageous.
- Phenomenal communication and a get things done mentality.
The role is remote, although occasional travel to Oxford may be required.
