As a Senior HV Battery System engineer, you will be supporting the delivery of vehicle battery pack, ensuring activities within Product delivery and other internal departments are aligned with the original product vision. Reporting to engineering product manager, you will support liaison with customers to understand product needs and defining product requirements, leading DFMEA taskforce and support product lifecycle from planning to market launch.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Working closely with external customers, suppliers, and Agratas internal stakeholders at all levels to ensure full derivation of battery system / sub-system requirements and satisfy Agratas technical and project delivery needs using System Engineering approach.
Utilizing analysis experience to research and propose appropriate battery system architectures and evaluate them against use cases, based upon steady state analysis and dynamic simulation as appropriate.
Working with System Engineering counterpart to define, agree, cascade, and validate the battery system and component level requirements.
Developing and executing appropriate system level verification & validation plans.
Working closely with design engineers, suppliers and build technicians to realize prototype hardware and test it in line with the V&V plan (including MiL, HiL and field testing as appropriate).
Leading System development through Proof of Concept to C sample and production as appropriate
Supporting product sourcing, purchasing and selection as required by the design process with a good understanding of DFM, DFA and supply base.
Ensuring project documentation is correctly managed, maintained and released in line with company processes and standards.
Chairing, leading, and representing, where appropriate, Product Delivery team in technical reviews of product designs, requirements, and specifications alignment discussions.


Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Battery design and Integration.
Strong understanding of electrical components and principles.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Innovative mindset and a commitment to sustainable and high-performance designs.
