An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the teaching team at The Elms as Head of Classics.
They will be expected to provide quality teaching themselves, as well as developing the curriculum, provide staff training (as required) and monitor departmental resources. They will be confident in the use of academic data as a supportive tool, in order to track and encourage pupil progress. They should also be prepared to contribute to the wider life of this busy rural prep school, which continues to be committed to Saturday school
While retaining all that is good about a traditional prep school education, the school is modern in its thinking and development of its pupils. The School is a vibrant, demanding, and supportive environment which encourages pupils and staff to be involved in a broad a range of activities and interests.There is the school’s farm, where children interact with pigs, sheep, cows, goats, and poultry.
