We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a team of skilled engineers based in Rochdale specialising in turnkey systems for the manufacture of a wide range of products.
You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the installation teams, handling spare parts inquiries, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and departmental procedures.
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm / Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm
* Unlimited overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
* 31 days holiday (rising by 2 days for 5 years)

What will you be doing as a Service Engineer?
* Carrying out service and calibration work on food and confectionary process systems as required by the business, including working away from home on client sites in the UK and worldwide
* Assisting in fielding and progressing emails and phone calls regarding the supply of spare parts as required
* Providing additional support to installation teams, including site wiring, modifications, testing, and commissioning
* Electrical bias with mechanical skills being advantageous
* HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering (minimum ONC)
* Knowledge and experience with PLCs
* Ability in electrical and mechanical fault finding and providing solutions
* Flexible approach to work
* Willingness to work regular overtime and weekends
* Experience in the food industry is beneficial but not essential
* Proficiency with Windows OS including Office applications
