HR Consultant (HR Policy)

New pivotal outside IR35 consultancy role at a leading specialty insurer.

This fully remote, four-week assignment offers the chance to make a significant impact by refining HR policies to align with legal standards, best practices and the organisation’s core values.

You will play a crucial role in reviewing and amending existing policies to ensure they are not only legally compliant but also resonate with inclusive language and the company’s ethos. This role will be responsible for identifying any gaps in current policies, examining the existing HR Manual, and ensuring the company intranet reflects the latest, most accurate information. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for imparting knowledge and providing internal training to the HR team, equipping them with the skills necessary to conduct annual policy reviews.

Candidates must possess a robust understanding of HR policy frameworks and have a proven track record of delivering clear, concise, and effective policy documentation. Experience in creating and delivering training material is also essential.

To excel in this role, applicants should have:

– A strong background in Human Resources, with specific experience in policy development and training.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, inclusive language.

– The ability to work independently, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.

– A commitment to continuous improvement and staying abreast of the latest HR best practices and legal requirements.
